The name Lamborghini has always been associated with the highest quality cars, in particular Italian sport vehicles.
The new Lamborghini Urus, adds a third model to Lamborghini’s range of supercars, the Huracán and the Aventador. It will be made at Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata’s headquarters in Italy.
The Lamborghini Urus is a SUV, based on a crossover concept. It is currently not know in detail what power train that will be used in the Urus but a hybrid solution is expected with a general specification indicating 584 bhp and a maximum speed of 330 km/h.
In terms of size the crossover Urus will be 4.9 meters long and 1.7 meters high. The Lamborghini Urus has a strong character of unique elegance, ultimate comfort and safety, combined with utility and supercar performance.
The Lamborghini Urus is planned to become available in 2018, initially at an annual production volume of 3,000 cars. Price hints are in the range of €200,000.
As Lamborghini is one of the world’s most exclusive brands it can be regarded as the jewel in the crown for its owners, the Volkswagen group through its Audi subsidiary.
